Marc Major, Co-founder, Principal
Marc helps business leaders generate value by weaving sustainability into key business practices including strategic planning, product and process innovation, and organizational learning. He has served large and small companies including Walmart, Clorox, Unilever, Ingersoll Rand, and Nissan as well as nonprofits and governmental agencies including the Environmental Defense Fund, Natural Resources Defense Council and the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development.
Before co-founding Cleargreen Advisors, Marc worked as a strategy consultant for Blu Skye Consulting, where for 3 years he advised and assisted Walmart executives, merchants and others on the creation and rollout of Walmart’s sustainability strategy. He holds an MBA in strategy and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an MA in curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado.

Renaud des Rosiers, Principal
Renaud helps clients to understand their environmental impacts and opportunities and develop practical, innovative, and cost-effective action plans for implementing and communicating strategies to increase operational & supply chain efficiency. He has worked globally with large public and private companies across numerous industries, including CPG, manufacturing, energy and materials, real estate, construction, publishing, and healthcare. His clients have included The Coca-Cola Company, Walmart, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, FedEx Kinko’s, Allstate, Wrigley, Hunter Douglas, Johns Manville, Rodale, Grosvenor, Cherokee Investment Partners, Forest City, the State of New Mexico, and Kaiser Permanente, among others.
In addition to his business background, Renaud also has a strong policy and economics background which allows him to take a broad systems approach to the assessment and improvement of client sustainability performance. He recently helped a global Fortune 50 company quantify the risks associated with energy usage and GHG emissions in its global operations from the perspective of price volatility, interruption and manufacturing downtime, and current and anticipated regulatory conditions. Mr. des Rosiers’ educational background is in energy and climate strategy, marketing, environmental positioning and brand management, and the integration of sustainability principles into business practices.

Catherine Greener, Senior Advisor
Catherine brings clients more than 20 years of experience in implementation of sustainability, lean manufacturing, and industrial quality management systems. She has applied her acute problem solving skills and ISO 9000, ISO 14000 & Six-Sigma experience to lead sustainability and resource efficiency projects forsmall and large clients in various industries, ranging from food & beverage processing to the automotive, chemical, semi-conductor, facility automation (robotics), and construction industries. Clients range from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies including Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, FedEx, Shell and Dell.
Before co-founding Cleargreen Advisors, Catherine was VP of Sustainability Consulting at Saatchi & Saatchi S. She is regularly invited to lead visioning sessions, training classes and talks in sustainability, continuous quality improvement, waste reduction and manufacturing strategy. She holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University & a MBA from the University of Michigan.
David Tomasula, Advisor
David Tomasula is a project manager with extensive experience working on large global initiatives, requiring strategic research, development and application of workflows, and solutions. Most recently David has been engaged with assisting a global medical device company navigate a large-scale corporate rebranding effort. This program requires the collection of data from internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and subject matter experts across the company’s supply chain, which is global in scope, and then defining standard work in order to assist specific functional areas in the development of packaging and processes, which comply with the new corporate brand requirements. Additionally, David is a certified Lean leader and an expert in facilitating process improvement through the development of standard work and removal of non-value added steps. David earned his MBA-Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder in Spring 2012.

Tim Griffin, Advisor
Tim has spent the last 5 years helping organizations figure out how to make sustainability part of how their company lives and breathes. Tim’s expertise includes everything from helping companies develop their corporate sustainability strategy to designing culture change initiatives aimed at unlocking employee innovation. Tim has worked with a diverse set of clients spanning multiple industries, including Walmart, Duke Energy, AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, and Kaiser Permanente.
Prior to sustainability consulting, Tim spent 5 years working in the field of International Development, including three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay. Tim holds a BS in Spanish/Business in Latin America from the University of Maryland and a dual MS in Agricultural and Resource Economics and International Agricultural Development from the University of California, Davis.

Debbie Maier, Advising Coordinator
Debbie brings to Cleargreen Advisors and their clients over 8 years of retail management experience giving her the skills to identify, implement and coordinate office operations and company research for CGA clients. She assists with all marketing material, the company’s social media sites as well as various in-house projects and research development. She enjoys working with Cleargreen Advisors and their clients to assist companies on their sustainability journey.
