Catherine Greener, Co-Founder and Principal

Catherine brings clients more than 20 years of experience in implementation of sustainability, lean manufacturing, and industrial quality management systems. She has applied her acute problem solving skills and ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and Six-Sigma experience to lead sustainability and resource efficiency projects for small and large clients in various industries, ranging from food and beverage processing to the automotive, chemical, semi-conductor, facility automation (robotics), and construction industries. Clients range from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies including Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, FedEx, Shell and Dell.

Before co-founding Cleargreen Advisors, Catherine was VP of Sustainability Consulting at Saatchi & Saatchi S. She is regularly invited to lead visioning sessions, training classes and talks in sustainability, continuous quality improvement, waste reduction and manufacturing strategy. She holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and a MBA from the University of Michigan.

Marc Major, Co-Founder and Principal

Marc helps business leaders generate value by weaving sustainability into strategic planning, product and process innovation, creative collaboration, and organizational learning. He has worked as a strategist, change management adviser, learning leader and marketing consultant for large and small companies including Walmart, Clorox, Colgate-Palmolive, Unilever, Vivendi Universal, and Leo Burnett as well as multimillion-dollar nonprofits and governmental and intergovernmental agencies including the City of Chicago and the OECD.

Before co-founding Cleargreen Advisors, Marc worked as a strategy consultant for Blu Skye Consulting, where for 3 years he advised and assisted Walmart executives, merchants and others to create and roll out Walmart’s sustainability strategy. Prior to strategy consulting, he served in planning, analysis and education capacities with various government agencies and nonprofits. He holds an MBA in strategy and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an MA in curriculum & instruction from the University of Colorado.

Renaud des Rosiers, Principal
Renaud helps clients to understand their environmental impacts and opportunities and develop practical, innovative, and cost-effective action plans for implementing and communicating strategies to increase operational and supply chain efficiency. He has worked globally with large public and private companies across numerous industries, including CPG, manufacturing, energy and materials, real estate, construction, publishing, and healthcare. His clients have included The Coca-Cola Company, Walmart, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, FedEx Kinko’s, Allstate, Wrigley, Hunter Douglas, Johns Manville, Rodale, Grosvenor, Cherokee Investment Partners, Forest City, the State of New Mexico, and Kaiser Permanente, among others..

In addition to his business background, Renaud also has a strong policy and economics background which allows him to take a broad systems approach to the assessment and improvement of client sustainability performance. He recently helped a global Fortune 50 company quantify the risks associated with energy usage and GHG emissions in its global operations from the perspective of price volatility, interruption and manufacturing downtime, and current and anticipated regulatory conditions. Mr. des Rosiers’ educational background is in energy and climate strategy, marketing, environmental positioning and brand management, and the integration of sustainability principles into business practices.

Anjana Richards, Associate
Anjana builds on her 10 years of experience in strategic planning, assessment and program management for multinational corporations to help clients integrate sustainability across the entire value chain.  She has developed initiatives in sustainability and greenhouse gas strategy, manufacturing waste reduction, product design using Green Chemistry principles, and product stewardship.  She also brings deep experience in Clean Air Act, CleanWater Act, and hazardous waste management compliance.

As a former consultant with Saatchi & Saatchi S and Arcadis, Anjana’s clients included General Mills, Dell, Procter & Gamble, United Technologies, Novartis, Duke Energy, DuPont, and Chevron among others.  Prior consulting, she worked for Abbott Laboratories where she managed environmental programs within corporate, manufacturing, and lab settings.  Anjana began her career with General Motors managing the hazardous waste program at a truck assembly plant. She holds a MS in Environmental Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business and a BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.

Debbie Maier, Executive Coordinator
Debbie brings to Cleargreen Advisors and their clients over 8 years of retail management experience giving her the skills to identify, implement and coordinate office operations. Her most recent retail position was as an Account Executive for a water-based bath and body, skin care manufacturer, thus beginning her path to a more self-sustainable life-style. She and her husband along with their two sons recently moved to Boulder, CO to embrace a more healthy outdoor life style as a family. She is a bike enthusiast both cycling and commuter rider around town, to school with her children. She lives in a solar powered home and has recently begun to grow her own organic vegetables to make her home a true garden to table, self-sustaining home. She looks forward to working with Cleargreen Advisors and their clients to further assist companies to improve their sustainability.

Charity Johnston, Accounting and Finance Manager
Charity has been a full-charge bookkeeper for over 10 years, of which 5 of those worked directly for an accounting firm. She offers a wide range of experience in managing the books of multiple company types. Her experience includes, Payroll processing, Payroll tax preparation and reporting, Sales tax preparation and reporting, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Monthly account reconciliations, Monthly financial statements, Human Resource management, and is a Notary Public for the State of Colorado. Charity has a passion for what she does and has a strong desire to help companies grow and flourish. She has spent many years developing her skills and educating herself in how to best manage a variety of companies needs.
